| Abstract: |
| This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes and relevant laws and regulations, enhancing the management of hazardous wastes, and ensuring to identify hazardous wastes in a scientific way. This standard stipulates the collection and testing of the samples for identifying the hazardous nature of solid wastes, as well as the technical requirements for judging the testing results. The solid wastes stipulated in this standard include wastes in the form of solid, semi-solid and liquid states (excluding the sewage water emitted in the water body). This standard shall apply to the identifying of the hazardous nature of solid wastes and not the emergent identification of hazardous wastes produced by emergent environmental pollution accidents. |
