Regulations for electromagnetic radiation protection
(GB 8702-88 Putting into effect as of June 1, 1988)
Abstract:
This Standard is formulated for the purpose of preventing and control electromagnetic pollution, protecting the environment, ensuring public health and facilitating the development of normal practice of electromagnetic radiation. The current Standard is applicable to all units or individuals, all facilities or equipment generating electromagnetic radiation pollution within the territory of the People's Republic of China. However, the protection limit specified in the current Regulation is not applicable to medical or diagnostic radiation on patients.
