| Norm on acoustical design and measurement of noise barriers

| Abstract: |
| The norm is formulated for the purpose of implementing Article 36 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution stipulating that "in the cases where motorways and urban elevated or light track railroads to be built run through the areas where existing noise-sensitive buildings concentrate and are likely to produce environmental noise pollution, sound barriers shall be set up or other effective measures shall be taken for the prevention and control of environmental noise pollution". This norm stipulates the measurement method of noise barrier in terms of acoustic designing and acoustic performance. |
