| The standard stipulates the measurement method of boundary noise applicable to factories as well as enterprises and public institutions that may cause noise pollution. The measurement method is to use type II or above-level sound level meter or environmental noise automatic monitor under the weather condition of no snow, no rain and of 5.5 m/s speed of wind. It should be conducted on the steady noise, periodic noise and non-periodic and non-steady noise both in the day-time and at night during regular working time at the subject site. The microphone should be placed at the location 1m away from the boundary of the site and 1.2 m above the road surface. The grade of "Slow" should be chosen for the sound level meter with the sampling interval of 5 seconds, while the grade of "Quick" should be chosen for the noise monitor with the sampling interval no longer than 1 second. The standard is supplemented by the measurement recording table. |
