| Abstract: |
| The standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution, preventing and controlling noise pollution of motorcycle and promoting the sustainable development and technological advancement of the motorcycle manufacturing industry. The standard is to replace the limits of noise emitted by stationary vehicles in the standard GB16169-1996 and the measurement method of noise emitted by stationary vehicles in the standard GB/T4569-1996. It stipulates the limits and measurement method of noise emitted by stationary motorcycles (except for racing motorcycle) and mopeds. It is applicable to in-use motorcycle and moped. |
