| This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection, carrying out the spirit of the State Council on ensuring the safety of agricultural products, protecting the ecological environment, preventing and controlling pollution, safeguarding human health, and developing and improving the environmental quality standards for edible agricultural products bases. This standard stipulates various parameters, their concentration (content) thresholds as well as monitoring and evaluation methods related to soil environmental quality, irrigation water quality, and ambient air quality in the production bases of edible agricultural products. This standard is applicable to edible agricultural products bases and not to greenhouse vegetable production bases. |
