Technical criterion for organic food
(HJ/T 80-2001, putting into effect as of April 1, 2002)
Abstract:
This criterion provides requirements for the production, processing, trading, and labeling of organic food. This criterion is applicable to unprocessed agricultural products, animals, and animal products, as well as the processed agricultural products or animal products made from one or more plants or animals and used for human consumption. Literally, it includes agricultural products (field crops), vegetables, wild vegetables, fruit, livestock and poultry products, aquatic products, and edible fungi, primary products and further processed products.
