Ambient air-Determination of nitrogen oxides-N-(1-naphthyl)ethylene diamine dihydrochloride spectrophotometric method
HJ 479—2009 replacing GB/T 15436-1995 and GB 8969-88 and putting into effect as of Nov.1, 2009
Abstract:

This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people's health, and setting standards for determining nitrogen oxides in the ambient air. This standard stipulates the methods to determine nitrogen oxides (nitrogen monoxide and nitrogen dioxide) in the ambient air. This standard shall apply to the determination of nitrogen oxides, nitrogen dioxide, and nitrogen monoxide in the ambient air. This standard is the combination of and amendment to Air quality-Determination of nitrogen oxides in ambient air-Griess-saltzman method (GB 8969-88) and Ambient air-Determination of nitrogen oxides-Saltzman method (GB/T 15436-1995). Air quality-Determination of nitrogen oxides in ambient air-Griess-saltzman method (GB 8969-88), which was approved and released by the former National Environmental Protection Agency on March 26, 1988 and Ambient air-Determination of nitrogen oxides-Saltzman method (GB/T 15436-1995), which was approved and released by the former National Envronmental Protection Agency on March 25, 1995, shall be abolished as of the day this standard goes to effect.
