Waste gas from manufacturing process-Determination of chemical oxygendemand and nitrogen oxide-Potassium dichromate oxidation and naphthylethylene diamine colorimetric method
GB 4921-85 ¡¡¡¡Putting into effect as of Aug. 1, 1985¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Abstract:
The standard applies to the determination of chemical oxygen demand and nitrogen oxide in waste gas that has been treated or undergone preliminary treatment. The applicable scope of COD is 2~200mg/L and for nitrogen oxide 1~100mg/m3. COD, in the context of this standard, refers to the amount of some organic gas and reducing gas that can reduce potassium dichromate. The amount is calculated by its consumption of oxygen. Nitrogen oxide mentioned in the standard refers to the total of nitrogen oxides such as NO and NO2. The content is calculated by CO2.
