In honor of striving for the environment protection in China about thirty years, CFEJ and Bayer(China) Co. instituted Bayer Youth Environmental Reporter Award (BEAM) in March,2003.
Ten reporters won the fist BEAM from Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. The first winner named Huang yijun caught the opportunity to attend initiating new environment values and rules forum which held by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), University of New South Wales(UNSW) and Bayer(China) Co. in Sydney ,Australia. Huang yijun attended the BEAM in Asia and Pacific region .
Liu shixin ,a reporter from China Youth Daily, and Jigang who is come from China Environment Daily visited the HQ of Bayer in German.
BEAM is an important part of initiating new environment values and rules forum and the forum have its endeavor to inspire and encourage the youth face bravely the challenges in the road to realize sustainable development and carry out environment innovation. |
