This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China and Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people¡¯s health, and setting standards for monitoring environmental pollutants.

This standard stipulates the determination of volatile phenolic compounds in industrial wastewater by bromine method.

This standard shall apply to the determination of volatile phenolic compounds in industrial wastewater which has high level of volatile phenolic compounds.

This standard is the amendment to Water quality©¤Determination of volatile phenolic compounds©¤After distillation with bromine method (GB 7491-87).

Water quality-Determination of volatile phenolic compounds-After distillation with bromine method (GB 7491-87), which was approved and released by the former National Environmental Protection Agency on March 14, 1987, shall be abolished as of the day this standard goes to effect.

Water quality©¤Determination of volatile phenolic compounds©¤4-AAP spectrophotometric method (HJ 503-2009)

This standard stipulates the determination of volatile phenolic compounds in surface water, ground water, drinking water, industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater by 4-AAP spectrophotometric method.

This standard is the amendment to Water quality-Determination of volatile phenolic compounds-After distillation by means of 4-AAP spectrophotometric method (GB 7490-87).

Water quality©¤Determination of volatile phenolic compounds©¤After distillation by means of 4-AAP spectrophotometric method (GB 7490-87), which was approved and released by the former National Environmental Protection Agency on March 14, 1987, shall be abolished as of the day this standard goes to effect.

Ambient air©¤Determination of ozone©¤Indigo disulphonate spectrophotometry (HJ 504-2009)

This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China and Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Air Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people¡¯s health, and setting standards for monitoring ozone level in the ambient air.

This standard stipulates the determination of ozone in the ambient air by indigo disulphonate spectrophotometry method.
